4u1 Handling class

Since I will not be opening another class, I have decided to offer the possibility to download the materials that we were using in the classes, in a form of overall 40 minutes long video containing 7 lessons from the 4u1 class, and 60 min video of 6 lessons from the Single Jump Skills foundation class.

4u1 class

Each lesson provides you with fun small courses on which you can practice many handling options, explore the possibilities and try out all the possible lines, therefore enhancing your skills in recognizing which line or handling option is fastest for your dog or which handling you maybe still need to train more.

LESSON 1:

groundwork wraps, turns on the cone and the jump, show and go, start line games, bypass command, beginning of out, beginning of in

LESSON 2:

outs (working on independence), ins (working on independence), wraps, multi wraps and RC wraps in motion, show and go with a jump, go straight, discrimination between go straight and turn

LESSON 3a:

progressing with outs, progressing with ins, outs&ins in an easy combination

LESSON 3b:

practicing front crosses, practicing blind crosses

LESSON 4:

adding handler movement on multi wraps, extreme angles rear crosses, practicing front crosses part 2, practicing blind crosses part 2

LESSON 5a:

rear cross out with a wrap, combination with rear cross out with a wrap, straight, turns etc

LESSON 5b:

verbal proofing (directionals, out, in, rear cross out with a wrap)

LESSON 6 – blocking cue, out with a turn away
